Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his childhood good friend, Spencer Smiths (drums), in addition to their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, top selling keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their track, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) simply by his LiveJournal web site. Impressed via the band, Wentz in my view met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 at the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin magazine as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 at the MySpace chart, and at all times staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could only support develop the bands fame. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the top of the line in their song video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band much publicity.
